Edible Playground Opening
North Beckton hosted a launch event for their unique Edible Garden, the latest addition to the school’s outdoor offering. The children enjoyed display-ing their new outdoor haven containing flowers, herbs, seeds, berries and plants.
The launch aligns with the Mayor of London's new ‘London Food Strategy’, which highlights the vital role of growing food in community gardens, allotments, urban farms and schools.
