On Sunday 20th October, 32 pupils from North Beckton had the privilege of watching West Ham Women vs Arsenal Ladies at Dagenham & Redbridge Stadium.

Despite the scoresheet, 2-0 to Arsenal, the pupils all had a great time watching the match, enjoying the half-time entertainment and the tasty food that was on offer. This opportunity plays a part in a project called 'Behind the Camera' which raises awareness of the range of jobs in sport that are available for women and girls (not just being a footballer).

Our pupils attended the match, learnt how to take professional photos and will be creating a match report about the game to develop their media and photography skills.
